2011 was the perfect growing season for this austere styled mineral driven wine. It is cold fermented in large concrete egg shaped fermenters with no malo-lactic. The mouthfeel captures the texture of the limestoned soils of Vista Verde. Aromas of quince, spicy pear and wet stone come out of the glass. The richness in the mouthfeel is accentuated with sur-lie ageing and the racy acidity leaves your mouth watering for more. There is a lemon drop and green tea flavor to the finish. A great wine for enjoying with fresh seafood and lighter pasta dishes.
