There is extraordinary purity and precision on the palate, leading to silky tannins, with a hint of cardamom and toasted almonds accompanying a long mineral finish. The natural amplitude of this extraordinary vintage is well-proportioned with finesse and vibrancy.
This shows wonderful blackberry, smoked meat and forest floor undertones. White pepper. Full body, very fine tannins and lots of spice, dark fruit and meat on the aftertaste. A refined and subtle syrah.
