Another 2021 from Alban that shines for its freshness, purity, and precision, the 2021 Grenache (there's 5% Syrah) sports a deep ruby/purple hue as well as gorgeously complex notes of red, blue, and black fruit, peppery herbs, and violets. Based on 95% Grenache and 5% Syrah, it's medium to full-bodied, concentrated, has ripe tannins, and integrated acidity. It has an almost Châteauneuf du Pape-like perfume and is going to have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2025-2036.
